Chapter 1026

Marcus had never met his aunt before.

The year when his aunt ran away from home, he had not been born yet.

Still, when he saw the pair of eyes, he just blurted out for some reason.

However, when he hurriedly opened his door and stepped out of his car, that pair of eyes were nowhere to be found.

‘Where did she go?’

Marcus looked around in every direction.

However, he could no longer see that ragged figure anymore.

An old lady with a basket happened to pass by Marcus’ side, and she was muttering to herself. “I don’t know what’s going on at this intersection. Yesterday, a girl was here bawling and shouting for her mother, and that cry was so pitiful.”

Marcus asked, “What did you say, ma’am.”

The old lady continued to say, “Today, someone is here calling for his aunt.”

After saying that, the old lady did not look at Marcus; she just hobbled away with her basket.

Marcus was left alone and suddenly tears streamed down his face.

‘Aunt!’

‘Could it be that she is still alive?
