I hear the door close and look up and see my beautiful girl’s face as she comes in. I squeeze Luna’s hand. “Hey darlin’.” I get up to go and put my arms around her and kiss her, God, I’ve missed her so much. I hate this being apart but only a few more days and Immi will be full time at the ranch with me. I cannot wait, like, literally cannot wait. It’s a dream come true is what it is.

“Everything alright here?” Her voice is slightly hostile, I furrow my brow.

“Yes of course, you seem uptight. Are you okay?” I go to put my arms around her but she moves me away with her hands, drops her bag onto the floor and slips off her shoes and heads straight for the kitchen area.

“A word, Cody. In private please,” oh-ho that doesn’t sound good, does it? I follow her cute ass into the kitchen where she leans against the sink with her arms now folded in front of her, a true defensive stance.
