I cringed at what he said. He must be dumb not to have heard what I said earlier to Kuya Noel. How could he not understand why I won't join them? Well, he was busy flirting with that girl earlier, so how could he hear or pay attention to our conversation with Kuya Noel?

I pushed him out of the comfort room just in case someone saw us and thought something else.

"Didn't you hear our conversation with Kuya Noel earlier, huh?" I asked him while pushing him, but he was unyielding.

"I have work so I can't join you," I added while pushing him, but he still didn't budge. He even held on to both sides of the door to support himself. I felt foolish pushing against what seemed like a sturdy wall.

"And why are you here, anyway? Weren't you with that girl?" I asked him, referring to the girl he was flirting with earlier.
