The siblings

The town was quite small and the three siblings were outside the biggest supermarket in it. They were in a car coming up with a plan as they had been watching the supermarket for three days and they'd mastered the workers' routines. The only problem so far was the skinny girl and her friend who were always patrolling the supermarket. It seemed they were after something in particular and the siblings hadn't figured it out yet.

"How doesn't anyone in this town notice that these girls are acting weird?" The girl, Kyla asked her brothers.

"They're quite pretty with innocent faces," Ned, the eldest said from the driver's seat. "If they weren't half as good looking, everyone would think they're creepy. They're also very average in terms of dressing and everything."

"I'm going to see what they're up to," Mark said when the girls went inside the supermarket. He got out of the back seat and followed the girls.

On entering, he saw the skinny one removing keys from a bag on the counter while her friend flirted with the handsome cashier who seemed to have a huge crush on her. She was pretending to check out different brands of chocolate while removing the key. When the bundle of keys was in the girls pocket, she passed over four white chocolate bars to the cashier. After the payment was made the girls left with big smiles on their faces.

Mark went back to his siblings after buying a packet of biscuits. "She stole the keys but we need to be faster than them in robbing the place. This is our best chance at paying our debt."

A few minutes later, they left and came back towards ten o'clock when the supermarket was about to be closed. They didn't come with the car this time. Mark listened by the window.

"I don't know how the keys disappeared," the cashier was saying to a potbellied man who looked to be the owner. "Someone must have taken them from my bag while I wasn't looking. We should call the police."

"No need for that. I'll just stay here overnight. There's no one in this town I can't handle."

"What if the thief is not from this town? Besides you've had a little too much to drink."

"Are you going to tell me what to do, now?"

"I'm sorry," the girl said. "I'll leave now."

After the girl left, the boss settled in. He had a key for the register. He locked it and put the key in the pocket of his coat. He closed the door and started watching a TV show on his phone. It must have been a sitcom since he kept laughing.

Three hours later when the town was all quiet, he fell asleep. The siblings saw this as a chance to break in and find a way of getting the money.

"He doesn't carry a gun so it'll be easy to shake him up with this fake one of ours. We don't need to kill him."

They went in and Mark touched the man's head using the fake gun.

"Wake up, old man."

The man suddenly jolted awake. He stared wide-eyed at Mark and Kyla who were standing in front of the counter.

"What do you want?"

"Open the cash register," Mark ordered.

The man pulled out his key and opened the lock. He pulled out the drawer and quickly whipped out a gun then shot Mark in the chest. He turned and shot Kyla as she tried to run. Ned who had been waiting behind one of the shelves, rushed and hit the man on the head as Kyla fell down. The man fell unconscious and Ned grabbed his gun and shot him. He rushed over to Kyla who was struggling to breath.

"Run," she said, cluching her side. He looked over at Mark who was very still. "Get the phone and call the police. They might be able to save us."

Ned did as told and went outside to hide, taking the gun and money with him. By the time the police arrived, his step siblings were already dead.

Ned looked at the photo of him and his dead siblings. When his mother had remarried, they had accepted him as part of their family with warm hearts. They had loved him when he didn't think he deserved it. It had been four years and the time had come for revenge. After changing his name, he'd continued to stalk the two girls responsible for his loss. If it hadn't been for them, the owner of the supermarket wouldn't have stayed at the supermarket and his siblings would be alive. He wouldn't be alone. They would have robbed the store and left the town.

Finding RK had been the best thing ever. Now he had someone to do the dirty work while he watched Gina's life get ruined. He wanted to break her to the point that she'd never get back on her feet again. He'd do it slowly by slowly until every person in the town went against her.

He went down in his basement and looked at the photos of her. She was always very happy, not knowing the pain she caused people by stealing their keys. To him, she was the real psycho. How could anyone keep stealing for fun without thinking of the consequences?

He ripped one photograph off the board and tore it into little pieces. The anger made his arms start to grow bigger and clawy but he steeled himself and willed his anger back inside where it needed to stay for now. If he were to let the beast out, it would go straight to Gina and Liana, then tear both of them apart. It had taken all his willpower not to destroy them on that night. Killing them would mean less suffering for them but he needed them to suffer more than he had.

Whe was done tearing up pictures, he pulled out his phone and called RK.

"How's she?" He inquired, referring to Liana.

"She tried to escape."

"Rough her up a bit and she'll lose all that energy. She won't be able leave that room. I left some pills in the kitchen. Use them."

"Okay, boss."

"If you can't, just call me but I don't want to risk being seen by her. I'm going to try and catch the other one."

He hang up and decided to go to a bar. It was early in the evening so there were few people inside, most of them in little groups of two or three. He spotted some of his friends and went to sit with them. After making his order, he saw Hellen entering with two girls. They sat on stools by the counter.

It was time to make a move. He gulped the last of his drank and stood up.
