Alpha Kai The way Max blinks as he stares at me tells me that I'm in deep shit right now. He won't stop frustrating me until I talk to him about why I acted this way, and I'm not ready for that. "Uhm... I mean, you shouldn't be touching a woman like that. She... She's a woman... You should respect her," I try not to stutter, but I still end up doing it anyway. "Oh..." Max utters as he withdraws his hand from her shoulder, and I heave a silent sigh of relief. The way he looks at me doesn't look like he believed the excuse I just gave him. "Uhm... Alpha, you asked to see you," She breaks the awkward silence that assumed the air for quite some seconds now, and I gulp down nothing nervously. What should I tell her? I think I'm beginning to act foolish right now. "Yes, I did..." I pause and think of what to say to her for a few seconds. I mean, we just did that about one month ago, and even if it's going to be done again, it should be in two months. But what the hell am I supposed to tell her? She has changed from the long gown she was wearing earlier, to a more sexy short loose gown that stops at her knees, and her hair packed in her usual style, ponytail.
