Conrad's POV

When I gain consciousness I found out that I was locked in the dark room where my father used to throw me whenever I made a mistake.

After a while, I heard footsteps then the light opened and it blinded my vision so I immediately covered my eyes until it adjusted to the brightness.

I turned my head on my father who is looking at me intently.

"Your mother is being cremated as of this moment," he informed me. I closed my fist tightly and stood up to punch him in the face but upon walking towards him I fell on the cold floor and that is when I realized that I was chained.

"Fuck you!" I shouted as I lay on the cold floor.

My father aggressively held my face and then looked me directly in the eyes.
