Chapter 24

Atasha's POV

Conrad looked at me intently trying to process my words and after a few seconds he shook his head telling me that he disagrees with my idea.

"You won't do that Atasha. You don't know how dangerous they can be," he uttered acting all protective.

"I'll be careful," I responded then held his hand and smiled at him.

"I promise," I added while looking directly into his eyes.

Conrad let out a deep breath.

"Tell me all your moves then and don't you dare do a dangerous stunt," he uttered which made me smile. I nod my head and then smiled at him once again.

"I won't I promise," I responded. Conrad stared at my face and after that, he stood up and then planted a soft kiss on my forehead.

"I'll be going call me if something happens," he reminds me before stepping out of my office.

When I am all alone I stared at our wedding ring and it felt like hope surged in my system.

I never thought we would come to this point. I thought throughout this marriage we will be nothing but two people
