The truth was hard to ignore anymore: I was confused about Dominic’s behavior toward me, and for his feelings, too, for that matter. One minute he’s being all loving and caring, and the next thing I know, he’s already avoiding me and acting cold.

I didn’t know what was happening, and I was starting to feel frustrated.

Dominic had been a jerk for days and had deliberately avoided me, but he seemed to get jealous when Gordon was around, to which I found pleasure just thinking of his angry face.

I mentally slapped myself. Oh, goddess! This was a complete mess, and I wasn’t sure how to handle it. It was pure torture!
