Putting my attention towards Faye, I see the gears turning inside her head as she comes up with ideas to make sure the two girls don’t know what’s going on. Since Faye and I were the only ones still outside as we waited for the four people to come back. She doesn’t pay me any attention which I would be okay with… if she wasn’t pregnant. I don’t need her stressing herself out.

“Love, why don’t we turn in for the night.”, I tell her softly.

“Can’t, I need to have a well thought out plan or many lives will be lost.”, she answers without looking up.

“I’ll give you an hour and if you're not inside by then, I’ll come get you and carry you inside myself.”, I tell her before kissing her temple and making my way inside.
