"Yeah", Aurora mumbled back.
"What's wrong?", Charlotte asked noticing something was up.
"Nothing. I'm fine."
"You don't look fine. What happened? Did he hurt you?", Charlotte said examining her body for any sigh that someone hurt her. "If he did, I'm gonna rip-"
"I said I'm fine, Char", Aurora said loudly this time. "I'll just go to bed."
Charlotte looked at her not ready to give up.
"I'm okay. I just need to rest. I'll see you in the morning. Goodnight", she said and turned.
"Okay. I'll join you in bed soon. Let me finish this movie", Charlotte said.
"Okay", Aurora said and went to the room. As she closed the door, her eyes became blurry.
This is exactly what she is avoiding. He can't just like her. He just can't.
