“I’m sorry Xan, I didn’t know you had other plans for the night,” I let out sarcastically, moving to leave his arms. But he held me back, holding me firmly in place to stop me from moving. He still had his eyes on me, and by this time he couldn’t glare anymore. The anger seems to have disappeared from his face and he’s staring at me in a way that made me feel special.

It’s as I’m still staring into Pegasus eyes, but no, it’s Xander's eyeballs I’m looking into. And I find warmth in them as he gazes at me with feelings I can’t really explain at this moment. You would think that Vinnie suddenly disappeared from the room, leaving us alone again. But that is far from the truth, she is standing right there, staring at us with venom in her eyes.
