Her shoulders sagged when Izabella realized Aleksander hadn't turned on the room's light.

Shanda questioned with anxiety in her eyes, "Iza." She quickly closed the space where Izabella stood by grabbing the white silk blanket from the bed and wrapping it around her friend's nudity.

"What has happened to you?"

"He's gone, Shan," she said scarcely audibly before breaking down in tears.

"When?"

She answered in a childlike voice, "I don't know. I sleep with him holding me."

Shanda asked with a lump in her voice, "But he told you, right?"

With tears rolling down her cheeks, she nodded.

She commented, "C'mon, it's so cold out here," as she drew inside and shut the balcony door.

Shanda asked again, "He was with you?"

She replied in a trembling voice, "Yes. Dax brought me there where the spaceship is located," She said.

"Did you speak without agitation?"

"Yes, we engage in conversation."
