ATHENA

The room felt very clustered and choking to me as I continued pacing around trying to figure out what to do. At this point it was very obvious that Rafael was hiding something from me and I couldn’t shake that feeling it was something very serious. A lot of scenarios were running through my mind but apart from the picture of me that he had which he had refused to talk about, there was nothing really concrete that I had found out.

My head was spinning because of all the thoughts that were playing out in my head and I was finding it really hard to breathe at all. I needed to take a walk at least to clear my head or something. I couldn’t afford to stay cooked up in this room forever.

Ella was standing in the hallway right in front of the door as soon as I opened it and she greeted me with a smile. I smiled back and brushed past her. It wasn’t until I did this that I noticed she was following right behind me.

“Do you have something for me?” I asked, turning to face her.

“No ma’am.”
