Thaddeus could feel her sincerity from her kiss and bowed his head to kiss her earlobe.

"Jessie," he whispered. "Why do we have to divorce if our bodies fit so well together?"

Jessamine froze as she realized that she had been played by him again.

"You promised that we'd get divorced after this. How could you go back on your word?" she demanded.

Thaddeus chuckled. "Did I say that? All I said was that I would promise you anything if you pleased me. However, judging by your performance just now, do you really think you deserve anything from me?"

"You—"

"Jessie, let's not get divorced. Remember how you first seduced me? Be a good girl. Do that again," he whispered as he nibbled on her ear.

Jessamine's ear stung, and she didn't know how to deal with him when he went back on his word.

In the end, she jumped off of him, uncaring if he had finished or not.

"I've had my fun. Take care of that yourself," she said coldly before picking up her clothes from the floor, leaving his shirt in
