Jessamine dialed Melissa's phone number. When the call connected, she said, "Mel, I need to ask you for a favor."

Melissa was still at Shane's house. She sighed and asked, "Why are you being polite? Just tell me, if it's something I can do, I won't refuse."

"I want to consult Joseph about something."
