That night, Jessamine returned to Eastlake Villa. She had hired two cleaners here. They took care of the house and planted flowers in the yard to make the place look more lively.

She didn't want this villa to be abandoned after Elizabeth's death. Someone needed to be there.

The roses in the yard were in full bloom. They were large, forming a lovely-looking myriad with their different colors. The house was so clean that even the windows were spotless.

When the two staff saw Jessamine arrive, they hurriedly made her some food.

Jesamine didn't have much of an appetite, so she simply ate something and returned to the villa. She held the photo she had found here last time, studying the boy in the younger Elizabeth's arms. She wondered if Malcolm was the one who was secretly investigating the truth about the accident.
