Chapter 196

As Jessamine watched the passing scenery, her mood worsened. She was still lost in thought even after arriving at Jardin Estate.

Jordan stopped the car. After a long while, he said, "We're here, Mrs. Holt."

Jessamine regained her composure and was about to get out of the car.

"Mrs. Holt." Jordan hesitated to speak. After a long while, he said, "I don't think you can reason with someone as insane as Amy like you would with a normal person. It's unnecessary to do so."

He implied that she and Thaddeus had indulged Amy too much, causing her to take advantage of everyone's tolerance toward her. Once something didn't go her way, she would use such extreme methods to force others.

"I won't indulge in her schemes anymore," Jessamine declared, getting out of the car with her bag.
