chapter 18: Slap from the Luna

Lucas sense his mother at the door and quickly rush to the door to stop her before she comes in. Ariel doesn't want to meet her and it's obvious her mother will be mad if she sees Ariel sleeping on his bed because she already chose a mate for him. It's Ariel he wants not Clarissa.

Lucas open the door and saw his mother standing outside the door with an unfriendly look on her face. He close the door behind him silently making sure not to make any sound that will wake Ariel.

" Mother! What are you doing here?" Lucas ask with a low voice as he guard the door with his figure to prevent her mother from going inside.

" I'm here to see you of course, or is it a crime to come to my son's room and see him?" Luna Alice asked back forcing a smile. She had change her mind on her way here and that's because Clarissa said she should not call her name yet.

" Where is the girl in your room? I want to see her" Alice said and Lucas eyes became dimed.
