Chapter 66

After Annie had successfully manipulated John, she wa very happy and she felt relieved that everything was going accordingly. Suddenly they heard a knock on the door, it was Diana, she walked in and and Saw Annie sitting at the edge of the bed.

Diana's face twisted in frustration, her voice rising to a shout. "Just because you're pregnant for your boss, no I shoudnt put it that way, just because you slept with a married man, doesn't give you the right to just act anyhow! Get out." she spat, her anger palpable.

Annie's eyes flashed with anger, but she bit back her retort. Instead, she slowly rose from her chair, her movements deliberate and controlled. She walked out of the room, leaving Diana's angry words hanging in the air.

John gazed after her, wondering why she had come to his room in the first place. He turned back to Diana, who was still fuming.

"You slept with your maid and now you have no shame," she said, her voice dripping with venom.
