Andrew smirked, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing from a mere maid.

“You must be joking right?” he asked his voice filled with anger and fear.

Annie gazed at Andrew

“Do I look like I am?” she asked in anger

Andrew held his shirt and walked in , but Annie’s words stopped her

“I just hope you think well about this, I am sure you wouldn’t want your father who has lost his trust in you Lose it again finally, act right and choose what’s best for you” she said and walked back into her room.

Andrew stood there his gaze on Annie he wondered what he has gotten himself into and how to remove himself from that trap.

He slowly walked back into his room, trying not to make a sound. His wife, Aliana, and their son, Ethan, were sleeping soundly, and he didn't want to wake them up. But as he approached the bed, Aliana stirred, her eyes fluttering open.

"Babe why on earth are you sweating when there is cold?" she asked, her voice low and husky.

Andrew smiled, trying to play it off. "Nothing I we
