Chapter 30

John grinned and led me out of the office, his arm around my shoulders. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this man and the life we were building together. He was my rock, my partner, and my best friend.

When we got home, John pulled me into his arms and kissed me deeply. "I'm so happy," he said, his voice full of emotion. "I'm so grateful for you and our baby."

I smiled and kissed him back, feeling my heart full of love and joy. "I'm happy too," I said. "I'm so grateful for you and our little family."
