Romeo was thunderstruck. This could not be.

'Did you say that you were pregnant with Jason's child?'

'Yes. How many times must I repeat myself? I know that this must have come as a shock to you but there it is. I was shocked myself when I found out. But aloud she said, 'I had wanted to get pregnant and trap Jason into marriage but I didn't know when it had actually happened until I fainted this afternoon and the doctor had to be sent for and she confirmed that I was a month pregnant'.
