Chapter 123: Out on a Date

Nancy cried and cried. She could not believe that she had allowed herself to be humiliated this way.

What was it with her that she could not think rationally anytime Jason came close to her?

She had virtually fallen into his arms. So he was right in calling her surrender to her attention by reminding her of her denial.

She slept and when she woke, she concentrated on looking for a dress that would flatter her as she went in her date with Alfred.

He had been jealous when she had done nothing with Alfred.

Now, she was going to give him something to be jealous about.

When they got back from their day out, Nancy knew because the children ran to her quarters chatting excitedly about all they did and their experiences.

Nancy convinced them later to go in, have a bath to wash off the dirt, eat if they felt like it and have a nap.
