Chapter 121 A Mother's Sorrow.

"So can't I," I tell Vida.

Right after our call, Vida arrived before me within ten minutes, this is a place that would take at least thirty minutes to arrive at.

I can't help but wonder at what speed she was driving but that wasn't important at the moment. The most important thing right now was how to get the kids, which isn't going so well.

Vida is everything but calm, she's tossing and turning, looking left and right, her breathing is fast and so is her heartbeat.
