Chapter 207

“It’s hard to believe she’s not mine,” Tatum replies, pretending not to hear Leila because divorce or rejection is not something he wants to talk about but also because it’s the truth.

The more time he spends with Amara, the more suspicious he gets and dare he say hopeful that Leila may just be hiding the truth from him as punishment for what he did to them.

Also, not the same people who were team Antonio when he was creepy af in the woods calling Leila dumb for thinking he is her second chance mate just because we as readers get an omniscient view of the characters thoughts & actions that Leila doesn't get. He was always creepy. Readers were desperate

Watching people call Leila annoying NOW is insane since she's BEEN annoying the whole novel. Am I to understand that other readers found her more palatable when she was a love starved fool? She's annoying and unlikable, but she's ALWAYS been that way. Her character has never been likeable.
