Royal's POV

"Hello?" I asked once again and the person who called me finally answered.

"My apologies Miss Royal. The phone is yours and I thought the Alpha told you already. It's Beta Simon speaking by the way," the voice calmly said and I sighed in relief even though I didn't know why he called. I was just grateful it wasn't Ryan.

"Sorry," I apologized as I felt a wave of surprise wash over me as I realized the voice belonged to Beta Simon, one of the Alpha's most trusted advisors. "Beta Simon? The phone is mine?" I repeated, my mind struggling to process this new information.

"Yes, Miss Royal," Beta Simon confirmed. "The Alpha requested that a phone be provided to you so that you can be reached in case of emergencies or important matters concerning the pack."
