Chapter Eighty-Nine.

The car came to a halt at the corner of the roads and up ahead them, there wasn’t really much but these two houses and a windmill a distance from them. The winds gushed in through the windows as they came down and both Joan and Theodore looked to each other at the same time.

“You think this is it?” She asked but he didn’t say anything surprisingly, just pushed the doors and stepped out. Joan, with an arc between her brows came out the other side and sauntered behind him.

“Theodore, is everything alright?” She asked.

“I noticed the coldness all through the ride and you barely even saying anything i mean, come on” Joan’s voice was perched with a high tone and it was then he turned around.

“Oh really” He shrugged his shoulders.

“Thought i was really subtle”

“Did i do anything?” Joan asked softly now and his lips disappeared into his mouth as he scoffed. “Did you do anything, Joan you’re asking me if you did anything?” He echoed her words and she was even more plagued.
