Michael's pov
Even If she couldn't tell we were her mates, and couldn't feel the mate bond, I could smell her arousal when I touched her.
She was so sensitive and reacted very quickly to even the slightest whisper in her ear, and I confirmed she was untouched. The scent of her blood on her shoulder and her mate scent of chocolate was so delicious I felt like eating her between her legs and finding out if she'd really tastes like she scented.
Miles and I didn't even intend for this to happen. We were headed out for a night hunt which was what we did like two times a week to clear our head from the stress of work in the mornings, and that's when we met her.
We had assumed she was a rogue since she didn't have any scent on her, so I had moved in for the first kill, but suddenly Miles was pulling me back and it was when I had shape shifted back to human, I had realized something was wrong somewhere.
She had no scent or evidence of a wolf, yet we could feel our blood boil as it coursed through our veins, the way her scent infiltrated our nostrils and intoxicated us like the finest wine, the way we drank in her beautiful appearance as our hearts beat in sync…
She was our mate no doubt, but if she was really part of our pack, his come we've never seen her before.
But no matter how large our pack was and known for being the No. 1 largest, most influential pack In the world, it was actually very small, in the sense that, our mate happened to be our sister's girlfriend.
And I didn't think Alexia knew we the Twin Alphas because she would have known her sister was this close to becoming future Luna.
But not anymore. I thought Kayla was the perfect Luna. She was strong and beautiful, but as much as I hated to say this, that was where it ended.
We have dated for years now, and she was going to turn 18 this year, and we had assumed she'd be our mate so we were already planning her Luna naming ceremony.
But why would she keep this away from us. Why wouldn't she want to tell us that her sister existed.
Miles suddenly spoke up, and when I noticed he was probably trying to spill the fact that we were her mates, I stopped him right in his tracks by giving him a look.
She was already terrified of us and we wouldn't want to further confuse her by telling her anything now.
So we just opted to take her home.
When we got up on Miles, I suddenly heard him growl.
'Why do I have to play the horse and you get to climb on me?' He growled, using the mind link.
'She's never ridden a wolf before. She might fall.' I smirk.
'I will be careful with her. Now get off .. '
'I smell jealousy. You do realize she's our mate right?' My smirk widened, and as if to prove me wrong that he wasn't jealous, he zoomed off, his hind and forepaws working as fast as before like he was intending to throw me off him.
Once we got to Beta Royce's house, I helped her down, but didn't get off Miles.
"Good night." She waved awkwardly and starts going in.
"Do something about your shoulders okay?" She suddenly turned to us and nodded before leaving again turning red in the face when I snuck a wink at her.
I was proud we had such a vunerable, pretty mate.
Her hair was raven black like the night and she had black obsidian eyes to go with it.
'Ciara called in… ' Miles suddenly said as he began running back to the house while I lay lazily on his back.
Ciara was our Beta.
'What's she saying.' I asked with a bored look on my face.
'Kayla's around… and she's throwing a tantrum.'
For the first time since I heard that name, all I felt was pure disgust and anger.
'Why? What exactly does she want this time?'
'Let's find out'
And with that, we arrived home in a few seconds and called Ciara out with a few instructions, letting her know that Kayla shouldn't know that we're outside.
She came out with some clothes and practically dumped it Infront of us and watched us dress with a sneer on her face.
"I really wish you could remember when I told you dating Kayla was a mistake back then, but you… "
"You were right." Miles suddenly said, raking his hand through his hair and stunning her so that she just stood there and stared at him in shock.
And I kind of knew why .
This was because Ciara, Jenna, our younger sister and Marshall, our step mother always told us that they didn't like Kayla and the idea of us making her our Luna.
We had never listened to them, and we were so blinded by the sheep's clothing Kayla has always worn, not realizing she was a devious cunning wolf.
But now the scales had fallen off our eyes and we could what she truly was.
"Guys… are you okay?" Ciara starts asking, but I cut in.
"Where's she?"
"In the living room. Marshall is ready to snap, and Jenna's already exchanging a few words with her. I'd rather you go in right now and prevent something worse than a tantrum from happening… "
Before she could even finish up we pushed past her and run into the house .
"You're welcome?!" Ciara yelled after us, but I couldn't hear her clearly, only focused on the noise coming from inside.
When we burst in through the doors, we see Kayla and Jenna faced off squarely, looking like they were about to go in for a fight when I suddenly went after Jenna and pulled her back while Miles pulled Kayla back.
Mile's povI could smell the rage in Jenna's eyes as Michael pulled her back, and the relief in Marshall's eyes as she held her chest and sighed."What's going on here?" Micha demanded, his cold eyes fixed on Kayla."Your sister is what's going on here… does she realize that I'm about to become her Luna in a couple of months?"Michael and I rolled our eyes at her words but Jenna bluntly scoffed."I would rather be enstranged from the pack than have you as the Luna, you over bearing brat.. ""Did you just… " Kayla suddenly went after her, but I pulled her back again."It's been like this for the past hour.. " Ciara said, her arms folded as she glared at Kayla."What happened?" Michael asked again, but in a much colder tone."Babes…" Kayla's voice suddenly softened as she turned to me and Michael, looking so vunerable, you wouldn't think she could hurt a fly. Jenne scoffed and went to stand right next to Marshall while Ciara rolled her eyes."You guys know my birthday is coming up in a
Alexia's povI was sitting alone in the cafeteria trying to eat while reading a book when I heard my name."ALEXIA!!!"My heart dropped to the bottom of my stomach and everyone looked at me, wondering my Kayla had yelled my name that way.She usually hated me, but she sounded so mad right now that I wondered what I had done to her.I see her come into the cafeteria, her eyes burning with rage, her hands squeezed tightly into a fist.I gulp and Stand up, intending to ask her what I did wrong, but she suddenly threw a punch at me, and I went flying across my table, over the air down to the ground."Lock the cafeteria doors … " Sasha, one of Kayla's friend said and I heard the door being shut immediately. My vision blurred as I forced myself to stand, seeing my schoolmates gather round a circle, beaming and smirking, obviously enjoying what was going on.I gasp as I was held up and I saw two guys holding me at either sides of my arm, smiling at Kayla who was taking off her school bag to
Alexia's POV Kayla's eyes were bloodshot as Michael pinned her tightly against the wall, holding her by her neck. She wanted to wriggle out his grip but Michael wasn't letting. She grasped his wrist, wrenching it to let go but he didn't flinch a bit. His eyes were filled with wrath, it was as though he should destroy Kayla at that moment, by suffocating her to death. Was all these because of me? This was a very big surprise, I would say this would be the very first time in my lifetime that life was favoring me. I had never been supported or defended by anyone in my life, I was always criticized, castigated and thrashed. These twin wolves were treating me like a goddess and the feeling was so overwhelming. They were defending me so affectionately that I forgot all the beatings Kayla had given me before they arrived. I looked at the guy who was carrying me in his arm with love, he smiled at me as our eyes met, I wanted to send back the smile to make him feel good but I found mysel
Alexia's POV Oops! Karla found her way out before anyone could notice... How smart! She had escaped amidst the commotion. She seemed too smart for her own good, not bad. But did she think, she wouldn't be found if they wanted her to be? I waited for the twins to decide. I leant on the wall behind me, my body was still aching from the punches I received from Karla but I did not want to show my pain to them, especially after compelling Mills to drop me. Michael advanced towards Daniel, he was down on the floor, gasping for breath, moving backwards as Michael approached, every part of his face was red, swollen and bleeding, his eyeballs were behind the sockets. Michael crouched to his level with a cold smile on his face. He gripped him by his shirt and sat him up to prop against the wall of the corner he was. "You are such a lovely, loyal supporter of Karla. It really shows from your actions and I love the way you supported her despite knowing the kind of person she is... You dese
Alexia POV "But wait, why did you bring her to our house?" I heard and disengaged myself from Marshall's embrace and looked up to see who just spoke. It was Jenne! "When the three of you rushed out of the house this morning, did you go to fetch her?" Doesn't she want me to stay in the house? I gulped down as I awaited the rest of the tests. I glanced at the faces of each of them, no one said anything, their faces were expressionless and my heart began to race. It was racing so fast that my palms began to sweat. "Marshall, Jenne... You can't believe what happened to Alexia today. If we hadn't gone to her school, I wonder what they would have make of her." Mills walked forward to the duo, whose eye brows were raised high, sending questioning looks at the two. It was obvious they didn't have any idea of what was going on, they didn't inform them that they were coming to my school. "What happened to her?" Marshall and Jenne asked him simultaneously, and t
Michael's POV I stood at the entrance of the pack-house, looking out to see if they were already coming. Mills and Ciara had gone to the fetch the healers themselves but why were they taking so long to arrive or was I the one so impatient? This was all my fault, I should have paid more attention to Alexia herself. She was now our responsibility and yet we still failed to fulfil it in a right way. When I saw that there was no sign of them anywhere, I ran back to the room where Alexia was. She was still laying there, not opening her eyes. I ran my fingers through my hair and ran out of the room again to check if they were on their way but then, I collided with someone making my stagger back. "Are you blind?" I shouted angrily and looked up to see Mills, Ciara and three healers behind them. "Calm down Michael, what's wrong with you?" Mills held me. "Please come in healers, she had lost her consciousness... You need to treat her as fast as you can." I pulled the elde
Ciara's POV This was good... This was the perfect time for me to get to Kayla. She would probably be at home now or be at her usual spot with her friends. I knew very well the kind of person Kayla was... Arrogant, selfish and loose. But what could she gain by hiding the fact that she had a sister? Because she couldn't control her wolf or because her characteristics was more like that of an ordinary human? At least, she should have been her back bone, the person to encourage and also train her. This girl was a bitch and she needed to be severely dealt with. "Are you guys ready?" I had gathered some of the soldiers to come with me for the search. I just hoped that Alexia is fine before we return. All of them nodded. "I am sure you know what we all have to do... Karla must not be alerted and we mustn't let anyone know that we are going for Karla otherwise we might not be able to find Karla again. Is that clear?" I was mean. I wanted to take that girl down. I had al
Ciara's POV "Daniel? Who is Daniel?" They all asked me. "Daniel will lead us to Kayla, I am sure he will know where she is for sure... He is kinda close to her... We will go to her school tomorrow, if she isn't in school tomorrow then we can take his help." I smirked as I had begun to think of how it would go tomorrow. "It is fine but are you sure he is going to be of help?" "Definitely! Let's go back home and re-strategise, tomorrow is going to be in our favour. If anyone asks you about where we had gone to, don't tell them except if it's Michael or Mills, is that clear?" "Yes!" We all returned home and didn't talk about it with anyone. I heard that Alexia's health had been improving and I was excited to hear that. Now before she fully recovered, I wanted to give he
