Ciara's POV

I wasn't surprised when we didn't find Adrian home by the time we got there, we knocked, knocked and knocked at the door, calling names but no one answered, the door had been locked. Ruby smirk with satisfaction but I pretended as if I didn't see her, she wasted a whole lot of time on the way here, giving different excuses that was making us stop on the way now and then and since then I had known what her strategy was. She probably knew that if we get there early, we would meet him at home and he knew the perfect time he wouldn't be home. This was her game but she wasn't aware that I knew how to play it more than she could. We arrived there early noon.

"I told you he won't be home... He isn't jobless at all. He must have gone to his work place, he works as a chef somewhere." Ruby complained as she sat on a log at one side of the entrance.

"Why didn't you tell me this before we left the pack-house?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes at me.
