Alexia's POV
Why do I always have to get into problems after problems? I was tired of it. Did I make mistake by coming here with the Alpha? Maybe if I hadn't come, there wouldn't be any issues like this that will destroy the friendship of the Alphas and Alpha Kye.
Miles and Michael had been gone for over two hours now and I wondered what could be taking them so long to return. I knew they must have confronted Gordon by now but I didn't know how he was going to react to the confrontation. I became restless again, I stood up from the bed to get my face washed when I collided with Robyn who fell down immediately.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know you were they. I am sorry." I apologized but he quickly stood up and bowed.
"No my lady, I am okay. I hope you didn't get hurt." He started to apologize which startled me. I w
Alexia's POV "Gordon?" They both asked simultaneously as they leant forward, staring at me with a surprised gaze. They were surprised I mentioned Gordon. Even I didn't know the reason I mentioned Gordon but I felt he could be part of the conspiracy. Immediately I blurted out that name, I felt one kind of relief like a huge burden was just taken off me. Like I had finally gotten the greatest answer to the questions I had been asking for a very long time. I said it with confidence. "Why did you say Gordon? He doesn't even go to kitchen if we are to say he planned with one of the maids to poison you. He doesn't associate with people of low class. He is the most classical coutiers here despite being a Gamma, everyone knows that about him... If we dare say this outside, we will only add more mud to our murky shirt. Why did you even suspect him? Maybe you have a genuine reason, I should
Alexia's POV "Apart from the weird part, what do you think about Alpha Kye?" I suddenly asked him as we walked not far away from away from the pack-house. "Nothing special, I just know that he is a good friend of our Alphas. That's all." He answered and shrugged. "Good friend?" I asked and he stopped. "Yes, good friend." He answered. "You never heard about the rumors?" "Just as you have said, it's just a mendacious rumor. Not everyone believes it." He chuckled and we continued to walk. I wanted to ask him about Rayzel as well but I decided to keep quiet at once. "Do you believe that I poisoned the food?" I didn't want to be prying or make him feel uncomfortable but I could not help but ask. I needed to know the entire soldiers opinions. M
Alexia's POV"Robyn, tell me.. Who were those men? Are they part of the soldiers?" I asked as fear crept its way into my mind. Robyn opened his mouth to say something, but the door to the room opened and five men entered. "Oh, so good you have finally woken up." One of them said holding a dagger in his hand. "Mr. Man, are your ready to die for her or you want to leave from here peacefully." He said, referring to Robyn. "What are you saying? It is better you let go of us for your own benefit, you might just regret this." Robyn said. The man bursted into laughter. "Are you threatening us while we still hold you captive? You are not scared of us and you are happy? This shows that you want to die." "I don't care, just let go of her... You can take me if we want but nothing mu
ALEXIA'S POVI was right on the chair still tied up, I was on praying to the goddess to save me from the hell I came into. Suddenly I heard a crashing rough sound from and I couldn't feel the heat of theman on my breast who was perceiving and trying to walk over his tongue through the cleavage. The men were ready to hightail it out. I opened one of my eyes to check what was going on, the men were already pulling out their daggers from their sheaths. What could be going on out there? I feared. I could hear the sounds of whipping kicks, swifting punches, clanking metals and crashing walls. "Who the heck are you?" I heard one of them say in a fluttering voice, it was obvious that he was scared but he tried hiding his fear. I tilted my head a bit to see who had come to cause so much confusion and fright
Alexia's POVPain. Pain was the only thing I felt as I woke up from the soft surface I was laying on. My head, my face, my throat, my shoulders, my neck in fact my whole body was in pain. I didn't even know how and when I fell asleep and how I got here. Afraid by the memory of what happened a while ago, I looked around for any threats, but I was back in my room, so I was definitely safe. A cup of water on the bedside table caught my attention. I needed water. My throat was burning and itching and I couldn't bear the pain anymore. I reached for the water immediately, ignoring the pain that was shooting out in my shoulder because it was nothing compared to the one I was feeling right in my throat. I gripped the cup and drained it at one gulp. Suddenly, my mind drifted to Robyn. Where was he and how was he? I needed to know if he was alright as well so I stood up
Alexia's POV What was Emerald doing here? We were finally caught. Now, she would go and tell Kye about it. "Where are you guys going?" She asked, walking majestically forward. I looked at Michael with scepticism but no body reacted or respond to her. "Are you guys planning to escape?" "This is not an escape... We are leaving your pack because we don't want chaos. We have done enough, your Alpha can't keep accusing us of something we didn't do and..." Michael tapped me and signaled me to keep mute. I wanted to just blurt out everything once. I was angry at her. "Perhaps it isn't an escape. Even if it was, I wouldn't have stopped you because I know what Alpha Kye will do to you if he lays his hand on you. Just go, I will clear the path for you." Emerald said with a smirk. Did she really mean what
Ruby's POV When Alexia looked up and saw that it was me who had saved her from falling off the cliff, she opened her mouth widely and made for me to release her from my grip which I did. I owe nothing. She was still in shock and her forehead was bleeding. The Alphas galloped back to us and shifted to their human form. Believe me, I didn't look up at any of them, I kept my gaze low. Not that I considered that a sin or that they would consider it insolence... It was something common amongst us but when you have a plan, you tend to do everything that would make your plan succeed at all cost. It was nothing new. "Ruby?" Michael gasped as he saw me. Alexia was still there beside me, standing like a frozen statue while blood coursed down her forehead. Ignoring me, Miles ran to Alexia and pulled her in for a hug. This wasn't exactly my plan but I knew that Alexia was going to fall and that was the reason I came here. Kayla already gave me the whole details which I had to follow... I
Ruby's POV I was not just comfortable laying myself down on Alexia's bed while she massaged my ankle with smile on her face. How someone be as foolish as her, I didn't expect her to welcome me after all I had done... Still not bad, but I couldn't use her against herself. It was true that I fell and my ankle shifted but the rest was just a mere pretence. It wasn't as hurting as I claimed and that was not even the thing, I couldn't still believe my ears, I didn't want to believe that Alexia bad started to hear her wolf speak to her... What next? She would start transforming and would become an unstoppable. In what world? How was even that and why was it? I still wondered how, I just needed to inform Kayla about this as soon as I could because we just had to stop her powers from completely manifesting otherwise, there would be nothing to use against her and that alone could only wreak ruination. I really wanted to sta
