Alexia's POV
"I know all of your movements okay? Tell me how you got to save Alexia and the reason you came to our garden instead of the other garden at your quarter... Didn't you come to spy on us?" Ciara asked her, while Ruby continued to lick her dry lips. She looked tensed but I think she was just afraid of Ciara. Ciara's aura is really very intimidating, but come to think of it... How was Ruby able to save me from falling for real? And what was she also doing in the garden before she fell? Ruby's actions needed to be taken note of... I knew for sure that this was another type of her plan, I was dull but not anymore... Ruby already shown me what world and fake friendship really looked like. If we wanted to know what her main plan was, we needed to act as though everything was alright. I didn't disclose this to anyone but I knew it was now my duty to catch the bitch red handed before we could throw
Ruby's POVI sat on my bed, thinking for how to get in touch with Kayla... How I wished I could mind link, would not that have been better... I will not be waiting for unnecessary phones... Maybe I was even accursed on my own. Only goodness knew the reason why all my plan had been failing. No even consideration. I had Marshall, Alexia and Jenna's supporting but still, they did not allow me to stay. Would dying not be better than enmeshing myself and putting myself into risks all time. Even the last time I collapsed, Alexia and the Alpha did not show up. I knew that was a pretense but they di not even bother to come check if I was fine or not. I guessed my game was already coming to an to an end... Perhaps I should give up. I paced back and forth, thinking of my next move and how to re-strategize my next plan. I did not have the time to think about myself anymore... I
Ruby's POVI knew this was a chance for me to cause problems between the Alphas and their sister. Jenna looked at me as I raised my head, pretending to be thinking of a plan that would make the Alphas not love Alexia more than her. "Ruby, please say something. What do you think I can do? I know Alexia isn't at fault here... My brothers are just obsessed with her." She would not stop praising that girl... This was even more annoying. What I wanted her to do was hate Alexia and ask her brothers to send her away but she seem to be blinded by that girl. Why wouldn't she just stop liking her? This alone was giving me a big headache. "I am still thinking about what to do, but do you think this isn't Alexia's fault too? When they Alphas were saying that they can't take you alon, why can't she convince them and make them do what she wants... She can do that, ca
Ruby's POVThe birthday celebration went on, with people dancing and singing birthday songs for the celebrant and receiving gifts from guests, but I wasn't even paying attention to what was going on there any more, I was busy thinking about how miserable my life had suddenly become in a few months. Technically, I was deprived of almost everything in the world I deserved if not all; I didn't get normal childhood, father's love, time for myself and even friends that could be confidants. Alexia was a confidant to me though but now that I had already made her my enemy, it would never change. While everybody was enjoying the party with drinks and food, I was at my table thinking of my next plan. I should get into Ciara. I should make Ciara hate the Alphas and once her hatred grew for the Alphas, she would definitely begin to dislike Alexia too and she wouldn't know when she would throw her out of the house.
Ruby's POVI woke up at the rough sound I was hearing, coming from downstairs. I held my head and slightly moved away from the bed. My eyes were heavy so I went straight to the bathroom to sprinkle water to my face. I came out the bathroom and went to my window to confirm if I was truly hearing voices. The voices were loud, but because of where my room was, I could not hear anything clearly. It sounded like people were arguing but I knew that was not possible. I sat back on my bed thinking of what next when I heard the shout again... This time it was clearer, jerking me up from the bed. I slid into my robe and went out of my room. I should go confirm if I was the one hallucinating or I really was hearing that sound. When I came, I saw no one around that I could ask if anything was going on downstairs so I proceeded to check things myself. I descended the stair case, when I got to th
Alexia's POVWhat could be generating altercation between Ciara and Jenna? This would be their third time fighting over something trivial but we would always find Ciara guilty. This did not require much thought though but I still believed that things was not right here, in fact I knew that all these things happening lately in this pack would be weirdest thing to ever happen. Ever since I knew Jenna and Ciara, they never argued let alone throw punches at each other, what then could have gone wrong? Would I say that Ciara had suddenly became more short tempered or Jenna was the one behaving too childish. No! I needed to go speak with Ciara. Only she could give me the best explanation of what was going on but she had just been avoiding everyone lately. She would not even want to give me a chance... What do I do now? I held up my jaw, staring at the ceiling thinking of what to do when
Alexia's POV"Jenna is under Ruby's influence Alexia... I know you won't believe me but that's the truth." "What!?" I exclaimed unable to believe my ears. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was true that Ciara didn't like Ruby at all but I that didn't mean she had to keep lying against her or associate everything bad that happened in the pack to her. Maybe what she said was true or not, who would hear this and still want to believe it. It was always obvious that the altercation that comes up between her and Jenna was either because of their short temperedness or ego which shouldn't be. Truth to be told, I agreed that the way the Alphas usually place the blame on her each time she fought with Jenna was not right but Ruby... Hold on! Why could
Alexia's POV "I heard it." When I tried Ruby's voice, cold and resentful, I could feel my heart sinking and my stomach churning very violently as I knew that we have finally been exposed. I and Ciara did not stop looking at each other now and then before turning our gaze back to her as she gently approached us with one kind of smile on her face that made her unspoken intention perceptible. I could not tell the meaning of what the smile stood for but I was so sure that she was trying to hide one emotion behind her smile. I did not regret the fact that I were plotting against her with Ruby when she entered but I was afraid that she now knew about our plan and that she now knew about our moves. She would want to do anything that would arouse her suspicion that way. I did not even know how to react to the current situation as I was completely dumbfounded, probably, if I was to smile back at her the way she was be
RUBY'S POV Even I did not know that I could go so far in destroying the relationship between the Alphas and the Beta but I did, this was something almost impossible because I knew how strong the bond between an Alpha and a Beta could be. The feeling of getting almost done with my first mission was so overwhelming that I couldn't control my happiness. Each time I remembered the pained and defeated look on Ciara's face whenever I shoot my shots, it always made me roll over amidst uncontrollable laughter. I said that I would do it and I did it. I did it with no difficulty. I took advantage of Jenna's innocence and naivety, and even know one did suspect it not even Alexia! Only Ciara knew about my plan here, but I knew she would have already involved Alexia in it. She had probably told her that I am using Jenna as my pawn and that I had challenged to throw her out of this pack.
