Odelia glared at Jo with a mocking smile on her face. "You always act without thinking. I told you, he’s not my boyfriend; we’re just discussing work! Now you've ruined everything! Jo, you might as well change your name to Joke!"

Her sarcasm made Jo’s eyes redden with fury. He was so enraged that he swung his fist at Odelia. Odelia instinctively screamed, but the punch never landed on her; it was intercepted.

Jo, even more furious, shouted at Odelia, "You say you have nothing to do with this pretty boy, but he’s protecting you?"

The detective was also annoyed. He had come for a business discussion and ended up in this mess.
