Nydia sighed at Flora's words. "From what I know of Lydia, she's incredibly stubborn. She only becomes more determined when faced with setbacks. Otherwise, she wouldn't have kept trying to get close to Lambert after he lost his memory."

Flora rolled her eyes. No wonder Odelia had called her for help dealing with that mother and son. Nydia was indeed too soft-hearted.

"Nydia, how about I meet with Lydia myself?" Flora suggested.

"Wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?"

"I’m Odelia’s aunt. Besides, I’m doing this for Odelia’s sake. It's no trouble at all. Of course, if you disagree, I won’t push it. After all, your son seems quite taken with her."

"Why would I disagree? Flora, if you can persuade Lydia to leave, I'd be more than happy."
