Standing by the shore, Lydia’s face turned icy cold.

Her fingers clenched into a fist, and she bit her lip, trying hard to suppress her anger.

Director Quentin Qian was furious from all the repeated takes.

He pointed at Roxanne’s nose and yelled, "Can you act or not? If not, get lost!"

Roxanne sneered inwardly.

Seeing Wythe's face turn pale and Lydia's expression pained, she finally relented a bit and managed to pass the scene on the sixth take.

As soon as Wythe emerged from the water, Lydia rushed over to wrap him in a large towel, drying him off from head to toe.

She was incredibly relieved that she had come prepared today; otherwise, the child would likely have caught a cold.

Just as Lydia finished tending to Wythe, Roxanne walked over with a smug look on her face.

She glanced at Lydia and snorted, "How did that feel, Lydia?"

Lydia clenched her fist, her emotions nearly boiling over.
