Watching Lydia sleeping peacefully in his arms, Andrew felt a bittersweet mix of emotions. Sweetness stemmed from the vulnerability she showed, unaware of his affection.

Panicked, Lydia, despite her familiarity with the apartment, felt a wave of fear and strangeness returning. She couldn't even discern how to leave the room.

At that moment, Andrew's soothing voice reached Lydia, comforting her. "Lydia, are you awake? Wythe has already gone to school. Would you like something to eat? You must be hungry after sleeping for so long."

Touched by Andrew's caring demeanor, Lydia's emotions gradually settled. "Andrew, thank you," she said, her voice choked with gratitude.
