Chapter 145 Getting married

Lambert snapped back to reality, finding Penny's parents calling for him, while Penny stared at his face intently.

"Is something wrong?"

Penny's parents exchanged a glance. "Lambert, well, you and Penny seem to get along quite well. We've also talked to your parents. Our idea is for you and Penny to get married as soon as possible!"

"Married?" Lambert raised an eyebrow, sounding surprised.

Penny sneered, "I know you still have feelings for Lydia. I'm not asking you to fall in love with me, but since both our families are so eager for us to marry, isn't this the best solution? Of course, you can refuse, but then you should know what awaits Lydia!"
