Chapter 319

Timothy sent Chelsey and Cole back to the Jenson residence.

Once they arrived home, Chelsey carried Cole upstairs and locked herself in the room.

Dianne and Edward were unaware of recent events. They could not understand why Chelsey was unhappy after returning from her trip. Did she not have a good time?

But Dianne and Edward did not pry, as she was an adult.

With Cole in her arms, Chelsey could not stop crying. She missed Lucas terribly.

The thought of never seeing him again made her heart ache so much that she could not breathe.

Chelsey regretted not meeting him when she had the chance. And now, even if she wanted to, she couldn't.

They could not even find Lucas' body.

Chelsey cried herself to sleep while holding Cole.

She didn't know how long she had slept until suddenly she heard someone knocking on her door.

"Chels, it's time for dinner," Fred said outside the door.

Chelsey rubbed her eyes, looked out the window, and realized it was already dark.
