Chelsey had to empty the urine drainage bag for him.

Lucas was reluctant to let her do it, so he said, "I'll have the care worker do this. You don't have to do any of these anymore."

"It's fine. I've gotten used to this."

Chelsey's expression remained the same. She didn't feel awkward about having to change the urine bag.

Lucas stared at her with a stern expression.

"Chels, you're my wife. You're not a nanny. I've never thought of you as a nanny."

Chelsey shot him a soft smile. She understood him.

"I'd be willing to accept it even if I were to become your nanny. I want to look after you, Lucas."

She continued, "I might sound outrageous, but I want to protect you too. I don't want to see you get hurt anymore…"
