Chelsey wasn't planning to hide the fact that she had a child. Zach would find out sooner or later anyway.

It was best just to be honest with him.

"You have a child already?" asked Zach, surprised.

"When did you give birth? I haven't prepared anything to give to the baby."

Chelsey was slightly embarrassed when she told him, "It was about a month and a half ago. Not many people know this."

"Fred never told me!" Zach exclaimed.

"How dare he! I'm gonna beat him up!"

Zach instantly produced a check out of thin air, signed it, and handed it to Chelsey.

"This my gift to the baby," he said.

"Fill in the numbers as you like."

This was the first time Chelsey received a blank cashier's check. Zach was simply too charitable.

"Don't, Uncle Zach. I can't accept this. I'm treating you to dinner today, so I won't let you spend a single dime. I really can't take this."
