And I hate to admit, I am gazing at him drooling over his almost to perfection look. Dressed in his sharp suit, he entered the cafe, and the space seemed to contract around him, his presence filling the room.

He sat on the chair across from me and placed the flower on the empty end of the table. “Are you by any chance visiting some sick people?” I taunted, cocking an eyebrow with suppressed mirth.

“Yes. But she appears to be doing well now,” he said, holding back a smile, though the corners of his lips twitched.

I chuckled, shaking my head.

I stopped by at your place. Rang your doorbell, and waited for a while, but no response. I thought you were still sleeping,” he explains as he gazes at me.

Why are you at my place this early? Don’t you have work to do?” I say with a dry tone, looking him in the eye.
