My extended family has experienced a tragedy, and I have been spending a lot of time at the hospital with them, which has left me feeling exhausted. As the eldest, I have taken on a lot of responsibility, especially for my mother, who sustained the worst injuries. She will need to undergo at least four major surgeries before she can start to recover, and I have no idea how long this process will take, as each surgery is dependent on the success of the previous one.
