Larisa took three steps backwards and retreated back into the living room. Leandro walked in after her and grabbed her by the arm, turning her to face him.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Why do you care?" Larisa asked in a tone he realized she had not used these past few days.

"Do you even care?" She changed the question and Leandro slowly let go of her hand.

"You don't care so just let me be" Larisa turned and walked away, her hair doing a flip at her swift turn.

Her hurried steps took her back to the room in a few seconds. She locked the door behind her and let out a heavy, hot breath.

"How did I get here again?" She ran her hands into her hair and pulled at it.

"How? I did not intend to.... I did not want these feelings to be awakened again" she muttered as her eyes filled with tears.
