A Night Together with Aunt Iyem

Raisa hugged Aunt Iyem tightly. The old woman could instantly sense that Raisa was not well. She immediately rubbed her back, calming her down.

“Cry if you have to,” Aunt Iyem said gently. She understood that households do not run easily. The old woman tried to strengthen Raisa, who was in distress.

“I can't cry now. I'm afraid if Arka finds out. I'm afraid what I've planned will be revealed,” Raisa replied softly but Aunt Iyem could still hear her.

“I miss my parents,” Raisa said in a sad tone. Aunt Iyem could sense that.

“Yes, I know. You must miss them a lot.” Aunt Iyem tightened her embrace even more.
