Chapter Seventy

Authors note: annnndddddd I’m back. I feel a little lost right now, it's certainly taking me a little bit of time and effort to get back into the swing of things. I hope everyone had a really good summer and for those who have read this book since I put it on hold, thank you for sticking with it! Chapter Seventy

While I waited for Damon to arrive, I got to thinking about how in ‘’the old days’’ it would have been Luke I called, not Damon, but he was a different person these days. He stayed loyal and true to his word and hadn’t picked up a knife in months. I couldn’t really blame him though, I hadn’t. Sure, it was for Ella and Jenson but now she was gone and I couldn’t stand to be in the same room as him, it was easier for me to fall back into old habits.
