Anna could not help but shudder when she saw Liam enter. The blood drained from her face. She did not know why she was feeling guilty so she quickly said to Grandmother Dawson.

“Grandma, how are you feeling? I’m going to stay here and look after you. I’m not going anywhere.”

“Haha, such a good child. It’s the thought that counts. I’m feeling much better. Besides, I always have people looking after me. You should focus on spending quality time with Bryan. Enjoy yourself. That would make me happier than you spending time with me here.”

As Grandmother Dawson spoke, she grabbed Bryan’s hand and tightly clasped it together with Anna’s hand.
