Chloe’s tears pooled at the corner of her eyes.

Anna was right. Even if she handed Bryan over to Chloe, Grandmother Dawson might not even allow her into their home.

Daniel personally helped Anna back to her room and said to her softly, “I know that you’re not feeling well inside, you can cry if you want to.”

Anna shook her head and faced her father smilingly. “Dad, I’m not crying.”

Daniel sighed. “Anna, I know that Chloe wronged you, but she is your sister after all. I’d hope that our family can stop arguing if that’s possible.”
