We saw Molly burst out of the woods across from us. At the same time, we all heard Molly frantically tell us through the link that we needed to move. By the time we reached the circle, the woman had kneeled beside Levi and was holding a large blade to his throat. “I would stop where you are if I was you. I would hate for his death to mean nothing.”

“Please don’t hurt him,” I shouted.

“I would think that you, of all people, would want him gone since he took your rightful place from you.”

“I don’t know what you're talking about. He didn’t take anything from me.” I said confused.

“No, I guess you wouldn’t understand since you got the higher rank of Beta female. But wouldn't it have been nice to get the position even though you were a female not because you were mated to him.” She said pointing with her free hand at Quinn.

“I honestly don’t know what you are talking about. Please just let my brother go unharmed.”

“We can sit and talk we will listen to all you have to say but pleas
