Chapter 160

Molly POV

I waited until Clover said she couldn't sense anyone in the other room and slowly tried the handle. I had never tried the handle before because I didn’t want to risk having to deal with the three of them when I knew there was a good chance that they would just use a tranquillizer on me again. As I slowly opened the door I listened for any movement. The room was dark but I realized I could see better than normal. “That would be my add senses,” Clover whispered.

“Why are you whispering? You’re in my head, no one else can hear you.” I asked.

“I don’t know. Isn’t that what you do when you sneak around? I’m new at this.”

Shaking my head I scanned the room for another door or a set of stairs. I was about to head for the stairs to the left when I noticed a set of patio doors to the right. By the looks of the room, we were in a basement with a walkout. That would explain why I had been able to see sunlight under the door to the room I was in but there were no windows in it. Thinking
