Meg POV

“Levi you can’t go running off. Wait for the rest of us.” I hear Dad yelling as we approach the packhouse. I can see Levi heading towards the tree line holding one of the specially made backpacks we use for carrying supplies in wolf form.

“I’m not waiting. I need to get to her now.” Levi yells back. “It won’t take me that long to get there.”

“Use your fucking brain boy I taught you better than that.” At Dad’s words, Levi stops in his tracks and turns back to face Dad. Dad lets out a sigh as to walks over to Levi and in a calmer voice says. “I understand that you are worried but you can’t go off running back to Twin Moon. Wait for the rest of us. We are taking the chopper back. You will get there sooner and you won’t be worn out from the run.”
