Ember's POV

" It's not like that, Henna,"I laughed out loud, chopping an apple for Henna while sitting on the table near her bed.

" No, your hair is so good. I wish my hair were like you," She said, playing with my open hair and I giggled. Since morning she has only talked about my physical appearance.

" Why do you always say that you aren't pretty?" I asked and she smiled.

" Because it's true," She replied and I rolled my eyes.

" Shut up Henna, you are more beautiful than you think. Your eyes are just like Ivan, so hypnotizing, your body is just great, it's just that your bitchy husband didn't see the real beauty in you," I said to cheer her up but in the end she smiled painfully. You know she is depressed. Nowadays she has become an emotionless girl. It's been 3 days since our arrival in New York but still she hasn't smiled. It's like there is no soul in her.
